Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist - Obstetrics & Gynecology

Required Skills:

• Valid CRNA certification and current state license (or compact license accepted)
• Minimum of 2 years of anesthesia practice experience
• Proficiency with Epic EMR systems (highly preferred)
• Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
• Ability to work a consistent full-time schedule, including 4x10s, 3x12s, or 5x8s, with availability to work four weeks per month
• Flexibility to rotate to various ambulatory surgery centers within Lexington (Lexington, Irmo, and Northeast Columbia areas), traveling up to once or twice weekly as needed
• Excellent communication skills and strong clinical judgment

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience working in high-volume surgical settings
• Familiarity with Draeger anesthesia machines and advanced airway equipment such as Glidescopes
• Ability to adapt to different clinical environments and case types, including GYN, ortho, urology, and vascular procedures

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing with specialized anesthesia training
• At least 2 years of recent anesthesia experience in hospital or outpatient surgery settings

Other Requirements:

• Willingness to travel to multiple surgery centers within the Lexington area
• Credentialing timeline of approximately 60-90 days
• Ability to work on a day shift, 4x10-hour shifts from 08:00 to 17:00
• Support from anesthesia techs in a large department of 70 CRNAs and 15 anesthesiologists under Medical Direction Care Team model

Hourly Pay Rate: $218.40
