Physician - Structural Heart Disease

The rapidly expanding Cardiology Division at University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences(UAMS) in Little Rock, AR is actively recruiting a fellowship trained Structural Interventional Cardiologist faculty. The UAMS Structural Interventional Cardiology program performs complex interventions including transcatheter aortic, mitral, tricuspid and pulmonic valve replacement, edge to edge repair, left atrial appendage occlusion and paravalvular leak closures. The applicant is expected to demonstrate expertise in a broad variety of complex coronary and structural interventional procedures. The candidate will be expected to contribute to the clinical, educational, research, and administrative functions of the Cardiology Division.

Join a growing program with 15 faculty, 12 general fellows, 3 interventional fellows, and 2 electrophysiology fellows. Individuals with all levels of experience and seniority will be considered on a competitive basis. Compensation and benefits are highly competitive.

        Clinical responsibilities include structural cardiology clinic, inpatient structural cardiology consultations, structural interventions and participation in STEMI call.

        Highly supportive and collegial environment within cardiology, as well as surgical specialties (Cardiothoracic, Interventional Radiology and Vascular surgery)

        Participate in the mechanical circulatory support program (including ECMO)

        Active participation in general and interventional fellows education
