In this role, you'll be responsible for delivering comprehensive orthopaedic services, including clinic and operating room coverage, with opportunities to extend your skills into total joint procedures. Required Skills:
- Active Orthopaedic Surgery license and OR DEA registration
- Board Certified or Board Eligible within 5 years of residency
- BLS certification
- Ability to perform both clinical and surgical duties efficiently
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work various schedules, including block weeks or part-time options
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with total joint procedures
- Ability to perform minor procedures and assist in complex surgeries
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Prior experience in a locum or temporary role
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Completion of an orthopaedic surgery residency
- Minimum of 1 year of post-residency clinical experience
Other Requirements:
- Must hold an active Oregon medical license and OR DEA registration (license renewal not required)
- Willingness to complete privileging within 90 days of start date
- Flexibility to cover call shifts, including weekends (optional but available)
- Ability to guarantee 8 hours per day with overtime after 8 hours
This position offers an hourly pay rate of $1.00, with weekly pay via direct deposit, comprehensive medical benefits (W-2), and a robust referral bonus program.
