Position Information: The Southern Arizona VA Healthcare System (SAVAHCS), located in beautiful Tucson, Arizona, is seeking a dedicated Physician Cardiologist – Non-Invasive to join our esteemed team. As a tertiary care facility, the Tucson VA offers a comprehensive range of clinical services, including cutting-edge coronary angioplasty, TAVR and other structural heart interventions, electrophysiology, cardiac surgery, Mohs surgery, and neurosurgery.

Duties:

• Engage in quality improvement activities and ensure compliance with agency regulations.
• Provide supervision and training for fellows, residents, and medical students.
• Maintain BLS and ACLS certification.
• Champion our outpatient heart failure program.

Work Schedule:

• Full-time, Permanent
• Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

Requirements:

• United States Citizenship
• MD or equivalent degree in medicine or osteopathic medicine
• Unrestricted license to practice in the United States
• Board Certification in Cardiology (ABIM)
• Residency training completed
