Family Medicine, Internal Medicine Physician

Highly skilled in managing both pediatric and adult patients, candidates should possess strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle a varied scope of practice. The role involves chronic pain management, timely chart closures within 72 hours, and adherence to all credentialing and immunization requirements, including active DEA license and mandatory immunizations such as flu, TB, MMR, Hep B, Varicella, and Tdap.
Required Skills:
- Valid medical license and DEA registration
- Minimum of 5 years post-residency experience (or BE if within 5 years of residency)
- Demonstrated ability to complete chart closures within 72 hours
- Experience in chronic pain management is preferred
- Strong documentation and organizational skills
- Ability to see a minimum of 18 patients per day, Monday-Friday, 8 am-5 pm
- Excellent patient communication and clinical skills
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with pediatric and adult populations
- Prior experience in similar outpatient settings
- Bilingual abilities or additional languages
- Familiarity with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems
Preferred Education and Experience:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
- Completion of residency in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
- At least 2 years of post-residency clinical practice in outpatient settings
Other Requirements:
- Active DEA license prior to start date
- Compliance with immunization requirements (flu, TB, MMR, Hep B, Varicella, Tdap)
- Credentialing process completion within 30-90 days
- Ability to start within a mutually agreed upon timeframe; credentialing typically takes 6-12 weeks
- Willingness to provide 30-day notice for ending assignments if needed
