Job Title: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Required Skills:

  • Active North Carolina State RN and CRNA licensure
  • Board Certification as a CRNA
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of recent clinical experience in anesthesia care (no new graduates)
  • Current ACLS and PALS certifications
  • Ability to float between multiple clinical locations, including Moses Cone and NORA sites
  • Proficient in using Drager anesthesia machines and Philips patient monitoring systems
  • Flexibility to work 5x8-hour shifts, Monday and Friday shifts prioritized
  • Strong clinical decision-making and patient management skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience with cardiovascular, neuro, and pediatric anesthesia cases
  • Knowledge of EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) systems
  • Familiarity with advanced anesthesia equipment and procedures in high-acuity settings

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program
  • 1-2 years of anesthesia practice in a hospital setting, with experience in multiple surgical specialties including ortho, gyn, ENT, vascular, thoracic, and trauma

Other Requirements:
  • Willing to license for a compact license (no full state license required upon hire)
  • Ability to work flexible schedules with no consecutive days off, including some holiday coverage with enhanced pay rates
  • Must be willing to float between different departments and locations as needed
  • Must pass credentialing process within 60-90 days
  • Travel and licensure reimbursements available when applicable
