Trinity Health is seeking a Pain Management APP, you will assess, diagnose, and treat patients dealing with various types of pain, such as musculoskeletal or neuropathic. You will collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare providers to create personalized treatment plans and deliver comprehensive care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Assessment: Perform comprehensive evaluations of patients with pain complaints, including physical exams, medical histories, and diagnostic reviews.
  • Develop Treatment Plans: Create individualized pain management plans incorporating medical treatments, physical therapy, and alternative therapies as needed.
  • Monitor Progress:  Evaluate and manage pre- and post-procedural patients, assessing treatment effectiveness, tracking outcomes and guiding ongoing pain management plans 
  • Patient Education: Educate patients about pain management techniques, lifestyle modifications, and self-care strategies.
  • Collaborative Care: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, physical therapists, and psychologists, to ensure comprehensive pain management.

Qualifications:

  • Licenses and Certifications Required
    • Current ND Board NP/PA License required.
    • Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training, with certification every two (2) years, preferred.
    • ACLS certification, with certification every two (2) years, preferred.
  • Educational Requirements
    • Education as required to obtain and keep current ND NP/PA license.
  • Experience Requirements
    • Extensive knowledge of established professional medical concepts, principles and practices, required.
    • Experience in specialized medical areas, preferred.
    • CPT coding knowledge, preferred.
