Overview
We are seeking four committed and experienced physicians to deliver comprehensive emergency medical services in a busy, supportive environment. This facility handles a diverse patient population, from pediatrics to geriatrics, and operates around the clock to meet community needs. Required Skills

  • Active medical license in Arkansas or ability to obtain one
  • Board certification or eligible in Emergency Medicine
  • Proven experience in emergency departments with proficiency in managing a high volume of patients (approx. 1.8 patients/hour)
  • Competence in essential procedures including reductions, cardioversions, moderate sedation, laceration repairs, chest tube placements, intubations, central lines, and trauma management
  • Strong EKG interpretation skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with EPIC EMR and Dragon dictation

Nice to Have Skills
  • Additional certification in ACLS, PALS, or ATLS
  • Experience working in a level 2 trauma center or regional cardiac center
  • Previous locum or military emergency medicine experience
  • Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations

Preferred Education and Experience
  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  • Minimum of 2 years of emergency medicine residency or clinical practice
  • Prior experience in trauma and cardiac emergencies

Other Requirements
  • Availability to start on or before May 1, 2026, and commit to a 12-month assignment
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including day, night, and evening hours as scheduled (6a-3p, 8a-6p, 10a-10p, 2p-12a, 6p-4a, 10p-6a)
  • Valid DEA registration and current ACLS/PALS certifications
  • Willingness to travel for licensure or certification reimbursements, if applicable
