Physician Assistant (PA), Family Nurse Practitioner, Emergency Medicine – Urgent Care Specialist

We are seeking skilled and dedicated providers to fill multiple urgent care positions, responsible for treating both adult and pediatric patients in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Independently manage a high volume of adult and pediatric urgent care cases, including minor procedures such as I&D, lac repairs, and ear irrigation.
- Utilize Epic EMR system efficiently, demonstrating proficiency and adaptability in documentation.
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care with excellent soft skills to connect effectively with patients and support staff.
- Maintain compliance with credentialing, licensure, and certification requirements.
- Participate in onboarding, EMR training, and mandatory clinical screening and assessments.
- Work across multiple locations within a 60-mile radius, supporting the community's urgent care needs.
Required Skills:
- Minimum of 12 months of clinical experience in urgent care or primary care settings.
- Board certification through NCCPA (PA) or appropriate NP certification.
- Current BLS certification, DEA registration, and relevant state licensure.
- Competency in managing all adult and pediatric patients (6 months and older).
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating excellent clinical judgment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills suitable for fast-paced patient interactions.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Previous experience using Epic EMR with basic training.
- Proficiency in performing minor urgent procedures.
- Experience in high-volume clinic settings.
- Knowledge of Medicare enrollment processes.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) with NCCPA certification or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP).
- At least 12 months of clinical experience relevant to urgent care or primary care.
- Prior experience working in urgent care centers preferred but not mandatory for new grads with adequate training.
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to participate in mandatory training sessions held on set Wednesdays.
- Support within a 60-mile radius of residence is preferred to facilitate multiple site coverage.
- No travel or lodging reimbursements available; mileage compensated.
- Must pass clinical screening and complete all credentialing requirements before first solo shift.
- Strong commitment to patient care, safety, and adherence to protocols.
