Required Skills:

  • Demonstrated independent ability in EVH/vein harvesting
  • Experience assisting in CABG, open heart surgeries, and valve repairs/replacements
  • Proficiency in sternotomy closure, chest tube placement, arterial/venous sheath placement, and central venous line placement
  • Knowledge of cardiopulmonary procedures including EVH, SFA exposure, Impella, and CV ICU critical care management
  • Strong understanding of pre-/post-operative care for cardiovascular patients
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience with endoscopic radial artery harvesting
  • Familiarity with intraoperative and postoperative cardiac device management
  • Prior exposure to advanced heart failure devices or procedures
  • Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Master’s degree or higher in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in cardiovascular or thoracic surgical settings
  • Licensure and certification as a Physician Assistant in relevant jurisdiction

  • Ability to work scheduled hours starting from 04/01/2026
  • Commitment to maintaining current licensure and certifications
  • Willingness to participate in continuing education and training relevant to this specialty
  • Reliable transportation for occasional travel, if applicable
