Were seeking a passionate and driven Full-Time Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner to join our Hematology and Oncology team located in Oakland, Michigan. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the health of our community while working in a supportive, mission-driven environment.

As a valued member of our team, you will be a part of a comprehensive, multi-disciplinary oncology service line. This includes access to a network of subspecialties such as Radiation Oncology, Neuro Oncology, Surgical Oncology, Gynecologic Oncology, Thoracic Oncology, and Colorectal Surgery.

 Requirements

  • APPs: Board certified in specialty prior to employment
  • Experience as an APP or Oncology nurse is preferred
  • Requirement for NPs: AGACNP or ACNP
  • Active Michigan medical license (or ability to obtain)
  • DEA license
  • BLS certification (must be maintained)/ ACLS/BLS certification (must be maintained)

Duties & Responsibilities

  • A typical day may include:
  • Providing direct patient care
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
  • Participating in teaching and mentoring
  • Documenting in Epic EMR
  • Engaging in quality improvement initiatives
  • Supporting community health efforts
