Required Skills:
- Board Certified in Radiation Oncology or Board Eligible (within 5 years) with certification process initiated
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in radiation oncology
- Proficiency in external beam radiation therapy including 3D, IMRT, SBRT, SRS, IGRT (CBCT, Kv/Kv), CT simulation
- Experience with Varian Eclipse treatment planning preferred
- Valid state medical license (IMLC accepted)
- DEA certification
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and support staff
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience managing adult+ patient populations
- Familiarity with MOSAIQ EMR system
- Ability to perform special procedures related to external beam radiation therapy
- Additional certifications in radiation oncology techniques or technologies
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Residency or fellowship in Radiation Oncology
- At least 2 years of practice in a hospital or clinical setting
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to obtain applicable state licensure through IMLC if not already licensed
- Ability to work the designated schedule: Monday through Friday (7:30 am – 4:00 pm), with night and weekend call coverage
- Must adhere to all relevant licensure, certification, and institutional policies
- Travel reimbursement provided for flights, hotel, and rental car/gas where applicable
- All work performed in accordance with applicable state, federal, and local laws
This position offers an hourly pay rate of $331.50, with additional compensation for overtime (1.5x hourly rate after 40 hours), holiday pay (1.5x hourly rate on designated holidays), and 24-hour weekend call coverage.
