Highlights:
- Join our two other full-time acute care surgeons and have support available from our 6 general surgery PAs to assist during the day and available for after-hours emergent cases.
- Responsibilities include providing general surgery and occasional trauma surgery coverage in the ED and inpatient setting at Skagit Valley Hospital, a Level III Trauma Center.
- Opportunity for Trauma Medical Directorship available, if desired.
- As a 1.0 FTE provider, you can expect to work an average of 10, 24-hour shifts per month. 30-minute response time to the facility will be required.
- 24/7 reliable hospitalists onsite with support available from specialists throughout Skagit Regional Health.
- Integrated EPIC EMR platform utilized system-wide throughout the organization.
Qualifications:
- Graduate from an ACGME accredited program.
- Must be Board Certified.
- Must have general surgery experience with prior experience as an Acute Care Surgeon.
- Active Washington State license or ability to obtain a Washington State license before start.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Compensation: $3964.37/24 hour shift.
- Medical Director Compensation, if applicable: $155/hour
