Clinical Care: Provide first aid, treat minor illnesses and occupational injuries (cuts, burns, sprains), order diagnostic tests, and prescribe medications.
Safety & Surveillance: Conduct pre-employment physicals, DOT physicals, drug screenings, and hearing checks to ensure fitness for duty.
Regulatory Compliance: Maintain OSHA-required logs, manage worker’s compensation cases, and ensure company compliance with state/federal health regulations.
Health Promotion: Develop wellness programs (nutrition, smoking cessation), provide health education, and conduct ergonomic or workplace hazard assessments.
Case Management: Coordinate care for employees returning to work after injury or illness, including managing FMLA and disability benefits
