A respected and growing cardiology program affiliated with St. Mary’s Hospital is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible General Cardiologist to join a thriving, patient-focused practice in Tucson, Arizona. This full-time employed role offers the opportunity to work within a collegial, physician-led environment dedicated to delivering high-quality cardiovascular care.

Position Overview

  • Join an established team of experienced physicians and advanced practice providers in a collaborative setting
  • Balanced schedule with a mix of outpatient and inpatient responsibilities
  • Typical workweek ranges from 35–45 hours
  • Practice composition: approximately 80% clinic and 20% hospital-based care
  • Shared hospital coverage in week-long rotations, with no evening call beyond 5 PM
  • Weekend responsibilities are limited and shared across the team
  • Inpatient duties include consultations and interpretation of diagnostic studies such as echocardiograms and EKGs
  • Manageable patient volumes across both clinic and hospital settings

Qualifications

  • MD or DO from an accredited institution
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology
  • Eligibility for Arizona medical licensure
  • Commitment to clinical excellence and strong patient communication
