Job Title: Locum - Physician - Hospitalist Irvine, KY
Overview:

Required Skills:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine with hospitalist experience
- Valid medical license in Kentucky or eligible for licensure
- Proven experience in inpatient hospital care, including managing acute and complex cases
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a high-pressure environment
Nice to Have Skills: - Experience with Epic EMR or similar electronic health record systems
- Previous work in Level IV Trauma Centers
- Familiarity with nursing home and post-acute care settings
- Additional certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS)
Preferred Education and Experience: - MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- At least 3 years of hospitalist or inpatient physician experience preferred
- Prior locum or short-term coverage experience is advantageous
Other Requirements: - Availability to start on April 12, 2026, for covering the specified dates
- Willingness to provide 24-hour shifts, including unrestricted call coverage during off-hours
- Ability to work independently in a solo coverage setting
- Willingness to participate in a competitive pay structure, with rates at $4,000 per 24-hour shift plus call-back compensation
- Must adhere to all state, federal, and local laws regarding licensure and practice standards
