Physician - Urgent Care

Specialty: Urgent Care Physician (Family Medicine or Internal Medicine with UC experience)

Client: VAMC

Location: Erie, PA

Schedule/Shifts Times: Sunday – Saturday; 7am – 8pm (schedule will be coordinated in advance, 40 hours per week)

Call Requirements:  none
% inpatient / % outpatient:  outpatient only (urgent care visits)
Patient Volume:  15-20 patients per day avg
Patient Ages:  adults only

Types of Cases: minor injuries/illnesses, chronic conditions needing immediate care

Support Staff:  Specialty Physicians, ER support, RNs
Procedures Required: suturing, casting/splinting, wound care, etc.
Type of Charting:  EMR - CPRS
Requirements:  BLS, ACLS, DEA, *Any State License*
