Role Overview
- Lead and grow the Heart Failure, Transplant & VAD program
- Join a rapidly expanding Pediatric Cardiology division
- Practice at a tertiary care childrens hospital + statewide outreach network
- Academic appointment: Assistant, Associate, or Professor
Key Responsibilities
- Direct & oversee Heart Failure, Transplant, and VAD services
- Deliver high-quality pediatric cardiac care
- Teach & mentor:
- Medical students
- Residents
- Fellows
- Collaborate with advanced practice providers
- Participate in outreach clinics
Qualifications
- MD or DO (or equivalent)
- Eligible for WV medical license
- Completed:
- Pediatric Residency
- Pediatric Cardiology Fellowship
- Board-certified / eligible in Pediatric Cardiology
- Training or strong experience in:
- Pediatric heart failure/transplant
- Ventricular Assist Devices (VAD)
