When you join us, youll become a part of a nationally recognized health system dedicated to our mission of helping people live the healthiest lives possible. In this role you will provide medical care for patients while they receive care in our inpatient psychiatric unit at Alta View Hospital. Psychiatric treatment will be provided by our dedicated physicians and psychiatric APPs.
What youll bring:
1+ year APP work experience post training preferred
Current state license as a Physician Assistant or Advance Practice Registered Nurse (APRN)
Physician Assistant must have enough hours to work independently
Certification as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner (Credentialing requirement)
Eligible for State Controlled Substance License II through V
Eligible for Federal DEA Certificate II through V
BLS Certification for Healthcare Providers
Other certification as required (e.g. ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NRP)
