Required Skills:

• Valid medical license in Kentucky
• Board certification or eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery
• Experience with general orthopedic procedures, including fractures and injuries
• Ability to provide high-quality patient care in hospital and clinic settings
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR system
• Strong clinical skills and excellent communication abilities
• Ability to work independently and within a team

Nice to Have Skills:

• Prior locum experience
• Familiarity with hospital-based surgical procedures
• Additional certifications in advanced orthopedic techniques
• Previous experience working with multidisciplinary teams

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
• Minimum 2 years of clinical practice experience
• Experience with emergency orthopedic procedures preferred

Other Requirements:

• Successful completion of credentialing within 30 days at each facility
• Current DEA registration and medical license
• Must meet all credentialing requirements, including proof of degrees, photo ID, and relevant certifications
• Willingness to work scheduled hospital call, surgery, and clinic duties
• Ability to adhere to facility protocols and adhere to safety standards
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, with on-call responsibilities

This position offers a competitive hourly pay rate of $18.72, complemented by additional compensation for orientation, holidays, on-call shifts, and callback hours, aligned with detailed billing and rate caps.
