Were seeking a passionate and driven Contingent (0.0 FTE) Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner to join our Urgent Care team in Whitehall, Michigan. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the health of our community while working in a supportive, mission-driven environment.
Opportunity Details
- Position Type: Contingent (0.0 FTE)
- Specialty: Urgent Care
- Location: Whitehall, MI
- Operational hours:Monday to Friday, 8am to 8pm, and Saturday 8am to 2pm
- 12-hour shifts (8am to 8pm) with some variability possible.
- Typical procedures:
- Sprains and strains
- Stitches
- Rashes
- Cold and Flu Symptoms
- Tooth Pain
- Sore Throat
- Pink eye
- Lower back pain
- Animal or insect bite
- Urinary tract infection
- Ear pain
- Very busy urgent care with a great team and a variety of patients.

Requirements
- Provider experience required
- APPs: Board certified in specialty prior to employment
- Active Michigan medical license (or ability to obtain)
- DEA license
- ACLS/BLS certification (must be maintained)
Duties & Responsibilities
A typical day may include:
- Providing direct patient care
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Documenting in Epic EMR
- Engaging in quality improvement initiatives
- Supporting community health efforts
