St. Peters Hospital is seeking full time evening - Hospitalist physicians to join the Hospital Medicine team in Albany, NY. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well established, collegial hospital medicine program within a physician friendly environment supported by strong system resources.
Position Details:
- Provide comprehensive medical care to diverse population of critically ill adult patients, including admissions, rounding and discharge planning
- Manage an average census of 15 patients per provider with a staffing model of 20 providers
- Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Respond to rapids and codes
- Conducts a history and physical examination, and note dictated in our EPIC EMR system
- Full Time Evening schedules: either 2 pm - Midnight with 8 shifts biweekly OR 2pm - 2 am, 7 on / 7 off

Qualifications:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Eligible for New York State medical licensure
- New grads encouraged to apply
- DEA eligibility required

Recruitment Package
- Base Salary: $251,680 - $266,240 commensurate with experience
- The posted salary reflects the starting range of total compensation and does not include productivity bonuses, incentives related to quality and performance, extra shift incentives, and other forms of cash compensation as applicable to the position.
- Starting Bonus: $15,000
