Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive endocrine patient assessments, diagnosis, and treatment plans.
- Collaborate closely with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated care.
- Manage chronic conditions such as diabetes and thyroid disorders with professionalism and expertise.
- Educate patients on management strategies and lifestyle modifications.
- Maintain accurate medical records in accordance with healthcare regulations.
- Ensure quality care delivery in alignment with organizational standards and protocols.
Required Skills:
- Valid licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with specialization or experience in Endocrinology.
- Proven clinical experience in endocrine or similar specialties.
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and clinical decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Certification in Endocrinology or additional relevant certifications.
- Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations.
- Experience with telehealth services.
- Familiarity with related medical technologies and treatment modalities.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Master’s Degree or higher in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies.
- Minimum of 2 years’ clinical experience in endocrinology or related fields.
- Active state licensure and DEA certification.
Other Requirements:
- Ability to work Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, primarily based out of the Gwinnett facility.
- Willingness to travel for professional development or program needs, if applicable.
- Valid and current medical licenses and certifications required.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to healthcare standards.
