Hartford Healthcare Medical Group is seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Minimally Invasive Gynecologic surgery team.

Practice in a collaborative team environment where all providers are connected through Epicour fully-integrated EMR system.

Provides holistic, quality and cost-effective advanced practice care for patients, families, and others in a target population, and participates in the medical management of patients, to achieve or maintain optimal health status, manage disease and reduce risk of illness. Engages in independent decision-making regarding the health care of individuals, families, and groups across the lifespan and the health care continuum.

Seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to support the MIGs team in both the operating room as assist at Hartford and Manchester Hospital; and outpatient clinical care in our West Hartford, Glastonbury, and possible further expansion into South Windsor. This role combines surgical first assisting with longitudinal outpatient care.

Shift: Full Time: 40 hours: Mon - Fri

There are no nights, weekends or call required in this position.


Qualifications


Completion of Approved Nurse Practitioner Program if appropriate for specialty.

Current APRN license is required after 1994.

Certification according to CT state law.

Masters Degree or PhD in Nursing or PA program strongly preferred.

Experience Strongly preferred

1-3 years of experience with surgical assistance.

1-3 years experience with Gynecology patients.

The MIGS Advanced Practice Provider (PA/NP) supports both operating room and outpatient care by first assisting in robotic, laparoscopic, and hysteroscopic procedures, preparing and maintaining the sterile field, and managing pre- and post-operative patient care, including pain and wound management. In the clinic setting, the APP evaluates and treats complex benign gynecologic conditions, performs office-based procedures such as endometrial biopsies and IUD insertions, and oversees postoperative follow-up and surgical planning. Across both settings, the role includes patient education, accurate clinical documentation, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality, coordinated care.
