Required Skills:

• NCCPA Certification is mandatory.
• NC Medicaid credentialed and enrolled in PECOS.
• Proficiency in emergency medicine protocols and procedures.
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in high-stakes situations.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Prior experience in emergency medicine or acute care settings.
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR system.
• Bilingual skills to effectively communicate with diverse patient populations.
• Additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, or ATLS.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program.
• At least 2 years of experience in emergency or urgent care environments.
• Current state licensure as a Physician Assistant.

Other Requirements:

• Availability for open shifts on July 1st, 2nd, and 6th, from 12 PM to 12 AM.
• Must see approximately 18-20 patients per 12-hour shift.
• Housing will be provided in hospital-owned apartments.
• Travel costs are capped at $500, where applicable.
• EMR: Meditech 6.1.
