We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Locum OB/GYN Physician (MD/DO) to provide exceptional care in the vibrant community of Richmond, VA. Required Skills:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Valid medical license to practice in Virginia
• Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Proven experience in OB/GYN patient care, including low and high-risk pregnancies
• Proficiency in OB ultrasounds, FHR interpretation, and obstetric procedures
• Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team setting

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with electronic medical records (EPIC preferred)
• Previous work in hospital and outpatient settings
• Familiarity with labor and delivery procedures
• Comfortable performing minor gynecological procedures (IUD, colposcopy, LEEP, etc.)
• Ability to handle a balanced mix of office consultations and hospital call duties

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Medical degree (MD/DO) from an accredited institution
• At least 2 years of OB/GYN practice experience
• Knowledge of high-volume clinical settings
• Experience managing both routine and complex obstetric cases

Other Requirements:

• Availability to cover scheduled dates from May through early August
• Willingness to participate in 24-hour call rotations
• Onsite lab, ultrasound, and OB/GYN equipment familiarity
• Ability to credential within approximately 120 days
• Must adhere to all state, federal, and local healthcare laws and regulations
