Exciting Opportunity: Psychiatry – Addiction Psychiatry (Locum)

Required Skills:

  • Completion of an Addiction Medicine fellowship
  • Proven experience in managing substance withdrawal and detox protocols
  • Proficiency with medications such as Librium, Suboxone, Methadone, Sublocade, and Subutex
  • Strong understanding of opioid and alcohol dependency treatment
  • Excellent clinical judgment and patient management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Comfortable handling night call responsibilities (approximately two nights per week)

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Prior experience in a hospital or outpatient detox setting
  • Knowledge of relapse prevention strategies
  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
  • Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
  • Board Certification in Psychiatry with specialized training in Addiction Medicine
  • Active medical license in the state of Everett or eligible for licensure
  • At least 2 years of post-fellowship clinical experience in addiction treatment

Other Requirements:
  • Availability to start as soon as possible
  • Willingness to work Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
  • Flexibility to handle occasional overnight on-call shifts
  • Commitment to adhering to all safety and confidentiality protocols
  • Must meet all licensing, certification, and compliance standards
