Physician - Urology

We are seeking a board-certified/board eligible General Urologist or Endourologist to join our team in Redwood City, CA.   We would also welcome sub-specialists in Urologic Oncology. We may consider other sub-specialties, based on fit. 

Our Redwood City urology department is a collegial and supportive group within Kaiser Permanente Northern California, serving a diverse Bay Area population with a broad spectrum of urologic disease. The practice includes strong surgical volume, interesting pathology, and opportunities to develop niche interests while still maintaining balance and flexibility. We have a built-in referral network from the broader NCAL Kaiser region (> 4.6 million patient members). There is strong mentorship support by more senior urologists in subspecialty practices like Uro-Oncology, Reconstructive urology, Andrology, Robotics and Endourology. 

You would be joining a group of 4 urologists locally at RWC, as well as working with an additional 4 urologists at the South SF Kaiser facility for shared call weekends.  Call is typically 1 weekday and 1:9 for weekends (covering SSF/RWC). 

Located in Silicon Valley, our facilities (hospital and MOB) are amongst the newest in TPMG with the latest technology/support.  We have 6 main ORs and 3 ASU Ors (with pending 4th shelled space). We have Physician assistant help for some OR cases, particularly robotic bedside assistance.  Outpatient care includes use of Abridge AI scribe, ART in patient portal messages, Epic through TPMG. 

Professional development opportunities include clinical research (with support of Division of Research), physician leadership lecture series, and potential for growth into a range of leadership roles within our medical center and across the TPMG region.  Community service opportunities (Operation Access) are also supported by the group.
