Cone Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Infectious Disease Physician to join the highly respected Regional Center for Infectious Disease (RCID) in Greensboro, North Carolina. Join a well-established multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering exceptional infectious disease care across both inpatient and outpatient settings while supporting education, quality initiatives, and collaborative patient care.

Position Highlights

• Full-time employed position with Cone Health Medical Group
• Monday-Friday schedule, approximately 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Mix of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities
• Established practice with 3 physicians and 2 APPs
• Strong APP and ID pharmacist support for inpatient rounding
• Shared Q5-6 call schedule with additional paid call opportunities
• Approximately 8-10 patients per clinic with 8 clinic sessions weekly
• Partial telemedicine opportunities available (in-office)
• Opportunity for compensated APP supervision
• Teaching opportunities with medical and pharmacy residents
• Opportunity to participate in HIV research initiatives and multidisciplinary committees
• Strong interdisciplinary support
• System-wide Epic EMR

Candidate Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Completion of Internal Medicine residency and Infectious Disease fellowship
• Board Certified in Infectious Disease or Board Eligible with intent to become board certified within 2 years of hire
• Eligible for or currently holding North Carolina medical licensure
• Current DEA registration required
