What You'll Do:

• Deliver general anesthesia for diverse cases including orthopedics, labor & delivery, spine, GI, gynecology, urology, cath lab, interventional radiology, bariatric bypass, and minimal vascular procedures.
• Work independently on scheduled shifts including Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, with the opportunity for additional day shifts.
• Collaborate with a supportive team of anesthesia providers, CRNAs, and technicians in a clinical environment utilizing EPIC EMR.
• Participate in coverage for urgent and holiday cases, with flexible on-call responsibilities.

What We're Looking For:

• MD or DO with a valid medical license in Iowa or willing to obtain licensure (including IMLC).
• Proven experience in anesthesiology with competence in diverse surgical procedures.
• Ability to work independently, manage a busy OR schedule, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and professionalism.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience with anesthesiology procedures such as orthopedics, OB, spine, urology, and interventional radiology.
• Prior work in hospital settings with high surgical volumes.
• Additional certifications in advanced anesthesia techniques are a plus.

Additional Requirements:

• Available to start ASAP, including July, with ongoing scheduling.
• Willingness to cover shifts at Mercy Council Bluffs and potentially Immanuel in Omaha, NE.
• Travel and lodging arrangements will be supported, with preference for preferred hotels and travel accommodations.
