What You’ll Do

• Provide direct patient care within the surgical service line
• Serve as a lead resource and mentor for APP team members
• Support onboarding, scheduling coordination, workflow management, and APP engagement
• Collaborate with surgeons, nursing, and administration to optimize care delivery
• Assist in quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice implementation
• Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, and exceptional patient care
• Support operational and clinical goals across the surgical department

What We’re Looking For

• Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with active Maryland licensure (or eligibility)
• Surgical, acute care, inpatient, or perioperative APP experience preferred
• Previous leadership, charge, preceptor, or mentorship experience strongly preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills
• Ability to lead within a fast-paced and collaborative clinical environment
• Passion for APP development and delivering outstanding patient-centered care
