Duke Health is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible, fellowship-trained Orthopaedic Surgeon for Adult Reconstruction.  This position supports continued growth across both the department and the surrounding community in Mooresville/Lake Norman, NC.

Ideal candidates must be fellowship-trained in Adult Reconstruction, with expertise in primary and revision hip and knee arthroplasty.  Candidates should demonstrate a strong commitment to clinical excellence.  You will join a collaborative, multidisciplinary team practicing with diverse clinical environments and strong institutional support.

Experience Pathways:

Early-Career / Fellowship-Trained Surgeons

  • Recently completed fellowship in Adult Reconstruction
  • Interested in launching a career in a growing service line backed by a leading academic health system
  • Expected to perform surgeries across inpatient and outpatient settings

Experienced Surgeons (5+ Years)

  • Opportunities to expand programs, lead initiatives, and contribute to service line growth
  • Ability to participate in leadership or quality/outcomes efforts
  • Experience in high-efficiency surgical environments (e.g., outpatient or ASC-based arthroplasty) is highly desirable
  • Expected to perform surgeries across inpatient and outpatient settings

Practice Details:

  • Primary inpatient surgical site: Duke Health Lake Norman

Qualifications

  • Fellowship training in Adult Reconstruction (required)
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopaedic Surgery
  • Eligible for medical licensure in North Carolina
  • Demonstrated commitment to patient care
