Nurse Practitioner - Emergency Medicine

Join Our Dynamic Emergency Medicine Team as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant!

We are seeking dedicated Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to join our vibrant emergency department within a busy Urgent Care setting. Located just 30 minutes from Madison and 20 minutes from Wisconsin Dells, our facility is a hub for diverse cases, offering an exciting environment where your skills can thrive. With support from advanced telemedicine services, a collaborative hospitalist team, and on-site helicopter access, you'll operate at the forefront of emergency medicine—delivering comprehensive care to approximately 40-60 patients daily. This opportunity offers flexible shifts from 9 am to 9 pm and 11 am to 11 pm, with ongoing shifts across multiple dates and months, allowing you to balance your professional ambitions with personal pursuits.

Required Skills:

• Valid State Licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Current BLS and ACLS certification
• Proven experience in emergency medicine, urgent care, or acute care settings
• Exceptional clinical assessment and decision-making skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with telehealth services such as Telestroke or Tele ICU
• Prior experience in rural or community hospital settings
• Additional certifications like ENP (Emergency Nurse Practitioner) or PPC (Pediatric Certified Provider)

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Master's Degree in Nursing (NP) or Physician Assistant Studies
• 2+ years of emergency medicine or urgent care experience
• Active state licensing and certification up to date

• Flexibility to work scheduled shifts including potential weekends and holidays
• Willingness to participate in ongoing education and training
