Pay & Benefits
- Salary Range: $300,000 – $350,000 annually, based on experience and credentials

What You'll Do
- Provide direct inpatient medical care, including admissions, daily rounds, and discharges
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage diverse acute and chronic conditions
- Collaborate closely with specialists, nurses, respiratory therapists, CRNAs, and emergency physicians
- Coordinate and develop comprehensive care plans for hospitalized patients
- Access and interpret lab tests, imaging, and diagnostic studies; document thoroughly in EMR
- Respond effectively to emergency situations, including codes and rapid responses
- Manage ventilator support and participate in interdisciplinary rounds
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment options, and follow-up
- Contribute to hospital quality improvement and safety initiatives
- Comply with all hospital policies, standards, and ethical guidelines
What You Need
Required: - MD/DO with valid Vermont medical license or eligibility
- Board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine (preferred)
- At least 2 years of hospitalist experience (preferred)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Preferred: - Experience in rural or community hospital settings
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
