Were seeking a passionate and driven Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner to join our Michigan Heart Cardiology team in Ann Arbor and Brighton, Michigan. Opportunity Details

  • Position Type:Full-Time (1.0 FTE)
  • Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts per week (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM)
  • Location: Ann Arbor and Brighton, Michigan
  • Specialty: Cardiology
  • Hospital Info: 560 beds, Level 1 Trauma Center
  • Team Size: Collaborative team of 30 Cardiologists and 15 APPs
  • Teaching Opportunities: Opportunities to support student shadowing experiences and provide mentorship for individuals pursuing Advanced Practice degrees
  • Call Requirements: No afternoon or overnight call responsibilities; rotating Saturday call coverage (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)

Requirements

  • Cardiology experience required
  • 2+ years of post-graduate direct cardiology experience strongly preferred
  • NP Candidates must be AGACNP or ACNP
  • Must be board certified prior to employment
  • Active Michigan medical license (or ability to obtain)
  • DEA license
  • BLS and ACLS certified/maintained

Duties & Responsibilities

A typical day may include:

  • Providing direct patient care
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
  • Participating in teaching and mentoring
  • Documenting in Epic EMR
  • Engaging in quality improvement initiatives
  • Supporting community health efforts.
