Career Overview

Mercy Health is seeking a dedicated, compassionate Physician to join our Urgent Care clinic in Hamilton, Ohio. This is an excellent opportunity to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a collaborative, fast-paced urgent care environment while enjoying predictable scheduling and strong organizational support.

As part of our Urgent Care team, you will evaluate and treat a broad spectrum of non-emergent illnesses and injuries, supported by experienced medical assistants and front-office staff. Our clinics operate seven days per week, offering consistency, work-life balance, and meaningful connections with patients and colleagues.

Urgent Care Scope of Services:

  • Walk-in access to high-quality, non-emergency care
  • Occupational medicine services, including workers’ compensation, return-to-work evaluations, and pre-employment physicals
  • On-site diagnostic services, including laboratory testing, X-rays, and EKGs
  • Seamless coordination with primary care and specialty providers as needed

Clinical Leadership & Physician Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical leadership and serve as a resource for advanced practice providers and clinical staff
  • Support consistent, high-quality patient care through collaboration, best-practice guidance, and clinical mentorship
  • Promote efficient patient flow, patient safety, and high standards of clinical quality in a fast-paced urgent care setting
  • Collaborate with operational and nursing leadership to support clinic performance and patient experience goals
  • Ensure adherence to clinical protocols, regulatory standards, and quality initiatives appropriate to urgent care practice
  • Foster a team-based culture focused on compassionate, timely, and patient-centered care

Candidate Qualifications

  • Licensed MD or DO in Virginia - required
  • Background in Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine, or Family Medicine preferred
  • Comfortable managing a wide range of acute conditions across all adult age groups
  • Strong clinical judgment, efficiency, and patient-centered communication skills
  • Visa Sponsorship: Not available (No J-1 or H-1B)
