FACULTY - Rheumatology Fellowship Program

Primary teaching affiliate HonorHealth

HonorHealth, a nine-hospital, non-profit health system in the Phoenix Metro area, is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Rheumatologist to join our growing team and serve as core faculty.  Physicians with at least three years experience as Associate Program Director or Program Director will be considered for leadership roles.   ASU Faculty appointment commensurate with experience.

ASU John Shufeldt School of Medicine & Medical Engineering

The Arizona State University John Shufeldt School of Medicine and Medical Engineering is a new medical school focused on training physician-engineers through a combined MD and MS in Medical Engineering. The curriculum integrates clinical education with engineering, AI, and health systems science. ASU has ranked No. 1 in the Most Innovative Schools category for 11 consecutive years.

The first medical school class begins in summer 2026. Rheumatologists will have opportunities to teach, with academic appointments based on experience. This is an excellent opportunity to help establish a medical school that is redefining how educators teach and learners learn.
