- Experience: Prior outpatient cardiology experience preferred

What You’ll Do:
- Provide outpatient non-invasive cardiology services, including EKGs and echocardiograms
- Collaborate with APRNs and other healthcare providers to coordinate patient care
- Manage a caseload of approximately 16 adult patients daily
- Document clinical encounters in Cerner EMR system
- Participate in diagnostic procedures such as Echos and EKG reads in partnership with local specialists
- Contribute to high-quality patient care and continuity within a collaborative environment
- No inpatient or on-call duties required
What You Need:
Required:
- MD/DO license in Vermont or eligible for licensing
- Experience in outpatient cardiology (non-invasive)
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred
- Proficiency with EKGs and echocardiography procedures
- Ability to collaborate with healthcare team
Preferred:
- Past experience working with Cerner EMR system
- Ability to supervise APRNs (if needed)
About the Assignment:
This position is based in a well-respected community hospital in Brattleboro, Vermont, serving adult patients with outpatient cardiology needs. The role aims to fill the vacancy created by a retiring cardiologist, offering a unique chance to become part of a friendly, supportive team with no on-call responsibilities. Credentialing is estimated to take approximately 2 months, with a possibility to expedite the process. Travel expenses, including flight, hotel, and rental car or mileage (at IRS standard rates), are reimbursed where applicable.
