What You’ll Do
- Provide 24/7 pager call coverage for emergent GYN procedures
- Support emergent GYN patient evaluation and management
- Be available for some emergent OB procedures as needed
- Cover cases as they arise; procedures are anticipated to be few and far between
- Coordinate care with the facility team during call coverage periods
- Maintain readiness and comfort treating any emergent GYN patient
- Commit to a minimum scheduling need of at least 1 week/month
What You NeedRequired
- OB experience in the past 2 years
- Comfort with emergent GYN evaluation and treatment, including a broad range of urgent presentations
- Ability to complete back-to-back 24-hour pager call shifts and remain available for callback as needed
- Willingness to begin as soon as credentialed for the start of the coverage need in August 2026
About the Assignment
This locum opportunity is based at Providence St. Patrick in Missoula, Montana, supporting a facility that needs additional coverage for emergent OB/GYN procedures. Coverage is primarily focused on emergent GYN care, with occasional emergent OB procedures as needed. The facility is adding one additional locum provider to help cover the call burden, with the coverage need beginning August 2026 and continuing ongoing indefinitely.
