What You’ll Do
  • Provide Emergency Medicine clinical coverage in an acute hospital setting
  • Manage care for all ages within the emergency department
  • Deliver high-quality patient evaluation and treatment using Cerner EMR
  • Collaborate with APP support and other emergency department staff
  • Perform emergency department duties aligned with required credentials and privileges
  • Support departmental coverage targets (12–14 shifts/month)
What You Need
Required
  • Board Certification (required)
  • State medical license (required; will consider IMLC or WV temp license)
  • DEA (required)
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS (required)
  • Ability to meet credentialing timeframe of ~60 days

Preferred
  • (No additional preferred certifications listed beyond BLS/ACLS/PALS requirements)
About the Assignment
You’ll join a hospital emergency department with 10 ED beds, providing Emergency Medicine coverage for patients of all ages. This assignment is scheduled with 12-hour shifts across days and nights, with 12–14 shifts per month and APP support available.
