We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing Family Medicine team. In this role, you will deliver high-quality, patient-centered primary care to an adult demographic, working collaboratively to support our Practice Lead and ensure exceptional continuity of care. You will manage a mix of scheduled and same-day visits within a supportive, lifestyle-friendly, and progressive team environment.
Scope of Practice
- Patient Population: Adults ages 18+ (40% Medicare, 60% commercial).
- Comprehensive Primary Care: Direct management of acute illnesses, preventative screenings, and chronic disease counseling.
- Clinical Workflow: Patient-focused 30-minute standard appointment slots for all visits, extendable up to 45 minutes when clinically necessary.
- Clinical Procedures: Routine outpatient procedures including joint injections, skin biopsies, and incision & drainage (I&D).
- Volume & Call: A manageable 14-16 patients per day. Light shared phone call (under 10 routine calls/week total across 3 providers) managed by the Lead Physician.
Qualifications
- Board Certified NP or PA with a primary care or internal medicine focus.
- Open to experienced clinicians or motivated new graduates looking for strong team mentorship.
- Active, unrestricted license to practice as an APP in the state of Maryland.
- A proactive, "no task is too small" team mentality with a passion for patient education.
