What You’ll Do:
- Manage ventilator settings in conjunction with respiratory therapy teams
- Monitor and admit adult critical care patients from ED, inpatient floors, and surrounding hospitals
- Perform procedures such as central line placements, arterial lines, and dialysis catheters
- Update families and coordinate goals of care for deteriorating patients
- Assist with overnight management of decompensating patients
- Document patient care accurately in EPIC EMR
- Work independently within a multidisciplinary team
What You Need:
- Active Nurse Practitioner license in Virginia
- Critical Care certification preferred
- Minimum 2 years ICU/Critical Care experience
- proficiency in vent management and invasive procedures
- Ability to work autonomously and adapt to variable schedules
