Opportunity Details
- Position Type: 1.0 FTE (flexible)
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8-5pm
- Location: Muskegon, MI
- Specialty: Diabetes & Endocrinology
- Hospital Info: On call support to Grand Rapids and Muskegon hospital
- Team Size: Muskegon has 2 Endocrinologists, 1 DNP, 5 support staff. Grand Rapids office has 5 Endocrinologist, 4 APP/PA, 20 support staff (supporting both GR and Muskegon) 2 CDCES RD, 2 RN CDCES (accredited education program)
- Teaching Opportunities: Yes - Residents, Medical Students, Fellows
- Call Requirements: 6-7 weeks per year

Requirements
- Open to new grads or experience
- Board certified in their respective clinical specialty or must achieve board certification within the timeframe defined by the applicable specialty board.
- What Fellowship (if required): Diabetes, Endocrinology & Metabolism
- Active Michigan medical license (or ability to obtain)
- DEA license
Duties & Responsibilities
A typical day may include:
- Providing direct patient care
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Participating in teaching and mentoring
- Documenting in Epic EMR
- Engaging in quality improvement initiatives
- Supporting community health efforts
