Were seeking a passionate and driven Endocrinology Physician to join our team in Muskegon, Michigan. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the health of our community while working in a supportive, mission-driven environment.

Opportunity Details

  • Position Type:  1.0 FTE (flexible)
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8-5pm
  • Location: Muskegon, MI
  • Specialty: Diabetes & Endocrinology
  • Hospital Info: On call support to Grand Rapids and Muskegon hospital
  • Team Size: Muskegon has 2 Endocrinologists, 1 DNP, 5 support staff. Grand Rapids office has 5 Endocrinologist, 4 APP/PA, 20 support staff (supporting both GR and Muskegon) 2 CDCES RD, 2 RN CDCES (accredited education program)
  • Teaching Opportunities: Yes - Residents, Medical Students, Fellows
  • Call Requirements: 6-7 weeks per year

Requirements

  • Open to new grads or experience
  • Board certified in their respective clinical specialty or must achieve board certification within the timeframe defined by the applicable specialty board.
  • What Fellowship (if required): Diabetes, Endocrinology & Metabolism
  • Active Michigan medical license (or ability to obtain)
  • DEA license

Duties & Responsibilities

A typical day may include:

  • Providing direct patient care
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
  • Participating in teaching and mentoring
  • Documenting in Epic EMR
  • Engaging in quality improvement initiatives
  • Supporting community health efforts
