Indiana University Health Ball Memorial Physicians is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Rheumatologist to help reestablish our Rheumatology practice in Muncie, Indiana. This is an exceptional opportunity for 2027 and 2028 Rheumatology Fellows, as well as experienced Rheumatologists, to launch or advance their careers while helping grow an established service line within Indiana's premier academic health system.

 

Position Highlights

  • Help rebuild and grow an established Rheumatology practice with immediate community demand
  • 99% outpatient practice with only occasional inpatient consults
  • Monday-Friday schedule (8:00 AM-5:00 PM)
  • 36 patient-facing hours with 4 hours of dedicated administrative time
  • Very light call responsibilities consisting primarily of occasional phone consultations
  • Adjunct Faculty appointment with the Indiana University School of Medicine, including opportunities to teach medical students and residents
  • Research opportunities available for interested physicians (not required)
  • Strong Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine referral base
  • Infusion Center and advanced imaging available within the health system
  • Opportunity for telehealth as the practice expands
