Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon at Dignity Health Medical Group - Arizona, based in Metro Phoenix, you will help critically injured patients regain mobility and functionality through expert surgical intervention so they can achieve optimal recovery and a return to their active lives. This vital academic position places you at the forefront of trauma care, contributing to both patient well-being and medical advancement in Phoenix, AZ.

In this dynamic role, you will be the primary physician responsible for:
  • Managing and treating complex orthopedic trauma cases as part of a1:5 call schedule.
  • You will perform highly specialized surgical procedures in a dedicated orthopedic trauma OR with 24/7 staffing,
  • Collaborate with full APP call coverage.
  • Mentor medical students as part of our academic affiliation with Creighton Medical School - Phoenix, and actively participate in advancing trauma care protocols and research.

We offer a competitive salary guarantee for the first two years, transitioning to RVU-based compensation thereafter, plus a sign-on bonus, full benefits, CME allowance, Malpractice with tail coverage, and relocation assistance for eligible candidates. Job Requirements
Required:
  • MD/DO
  • Board Certification
  • Active or eligible license in the state ofArizona
  • Acceptable completion of an ACGME accredited residency program with current ABMS board certification.
  • Completion of a Trauma Fellowship.
  • A passion for providing clinically excellent care
  • Ability to achieve full and unrestricted hospital privileges at Dignity Health Arizona hospitals

Dignity Health Medical Group is the employed provider group of Dignity Health Arizona. Dignity Health Medical Group (DHMG) employs approximately 350 providers and 850 support staff who cover a wide variety of specialties. The medical group has had tremendous success over the past few years and now provides more than 73 sub-specialty services. The physicians and APPs provide clinical services in their areas of specialty and many serve in pivotal academic research and leadership roles. DHMG is also heavily involved in preparing tomorrow's healthcare providers. Clinical services are complemented with translational and bench research to augment medical education for residents and students. Pay Range
$267.69 - $369.24 /hour
