The Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center (1A facility) is actively seeking a full-time Geriatric physician to join our team in downtown Indianapolis, Indiana. This is your opportunity to answer a calling—one rooted in gratitude, service, and the deep responsibility of caring for those who once stood in defense of our nation.
Enjoy work life/balance, the opportunity to teach residents and great federal benefits- all in the heart of Indianapolis, Indiana. The selected candidate will be considered for a faculty appointment at the Indiana University School of Medicine.
Highlights:
- Outpatient Geriatric consultation
- Typical shift M-F, 8:00am-4:30pm, no call!
- Quality focused-average new consults 1-2 per clinic and 3-4 follow-up patients per half day of clinic.
- Primarily Indianapolis location; approximately one day per week will be at a different outpatient location (Lafayette, Edinburgh, Brownsburg, Bloomington or Terre Haute)
- Opportunities for faculty appointment and to teach residents/fellows
- Up to $200K in loan repayment opportunity available
Qualifications:
- MD or DO degree
- BE/BC in Geriatrics
- Current full and unrestricted license to practice medicine in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or District of Columbia.

Pay: Competitive salary, annual performance bonus, regular salary increases
Paid Time Off: 50–55 days of paid time off per year (26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, 11 paid Federal holidays per year and possible 5 day paid absence for CME)
