Were seeking a passionate and driven Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the health of our community while working in a supportive, mission-driven environment.

Opportunity Details

  • Position Type: 0.2 FTE and call coverage 6 weeks per year
  • Schedule: Regular schedule will be one day a week (Wednesdays) 8-4:30pm
    • Will also provide PTO coverage on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday as needed
  • Location: Lacks Cancer Center Grand Rapids, MI
  • Specialty: Palliative Care
  • Hospital Info: Trinity Health Grand Rapids Hospital
  • Team Size: Will work alongside a physician and 3 nurse navigators
  • Call Requirements: Call coverage 6 weeks per year

Requirements

  • Experience only
  • Board certified prior to employment
  • Active Michigan medical license (or ability to obtain)
  • DEA license

Duties & Responsibilities

A typical day may include:

  • Providing direct patient care
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
  • Participating in teaching and mentoring
  • Documenting in Epic EMR
  • Engaging in quality improvement initiatives
  • Supporting community health efforts
