Description
MyMichigan Health, an affiliate of the University of Michigan Health, has an outstanding opportunity for an Emergency Medicine Physician in Midland, Michigan, joining the Midland Emergency Room Corporation (MERC).
- Expectation will be 12-13 ER shifts/month with availability of more shifts if desired
Requirements
- U.S. medical degree or foreign equivalent
- Board eligible or board-certified
- Completed a residency in emergency medicine, family medicine or med/peds
- Must have or be eligible for an unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state of Michigan and a Controlled Substance License

Practice Details
This is an opportunity to join a private, independent, democratic ER group with a long history (over 50 years) in this health system. Your first year will be as an employed physician with an option for partnership after one year.
MERC currently staffs four ERs in the system (Midland, Bay City, Gladwin and Clare) all of which are located within a 30 minute drive of Midland. Our physicians will be expected to cover shifts at all four locations.
