Nurse Practitioner - Critical Care

Blanchard Valley Health System is seeking two full-time experienced Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants to join our collaborative intensivist team and provide daytime ICU coverage at Blanchard Valley Hospital in Findlay, Ohio.

Practice Highlights

• Full-time opportunity
• 7-on/7-off schedule
• 12-hour daytime shifts
• Available as either W2 employment or 1099 independent contractor
• Collaborative, team-based critical care environment
• Work alongside experienced intensivists and ICU staff

Qualifications

• Current Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant certification
• Minimum of two years of ICU or critical care experience required
• Demonstrated proficiency in bedside procedures, including:
• Central venous catheter placement
• Arterial line insertion
• Endotracheal intubation
• Additional critical care procedures within scope of practice
• Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced ICU setting

W2 Employment Compensation & Benefits

• Guaranteed base salary of $155,000
• 200 hours annually for vacation and CME
• $3,500 annual CME and board certification allowance
• Medical, dental, vision, life, and malpractice insurance
• 403(b) retirement plan with 4% employer match beginning in year two
• Sick time accrual up to 600 hours

1099 Independent Contractor Compensation

• $110 per hour
• Contractor responsible for maintaining own malpractice insurance
