St. Peter's Health Partners Medical Associates is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing Outpatient Orthopedic Practice with a strong focus on spine care across the Capital Region.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a newly structured, hospital-employed orthopedic program that offers strong clinical integration, stability, and collaborative practice. In this role, you will work alongside hospital-employed orthopedic surgeons and a highly engaged team of Advanced Practice Providers, delivering exceptional musculoskeletal care in a supportive outpatient setting.
Position Highlights
- Outpatient Orthopedic APP role with a focus on spine care
- Monday-Friday schedule - no evenings!
- 1:4 shared call rotation
- Deliver comprehensive orthopedic patient care including evaluations, follow-up visits, and treatment planning
- Perform histories and physicals, document clinical findings, and develop care plans in collaboration with orthopedic surgeons
- Educate patients and families, coordinate treatment plans, manage post-procedure follow-up, and order/interpret diagnostic testing
- Practice in a fast-paced, high-volume outpatient environment that emphasizes teamwork and quality patient care
Opportunity Highlights
- Support multiple outpatient orthopedic sites with weekly travel to the following locations:
- Troy
- East Greenbush
- Latham
- Additional Capital Region locations as needed
- Exposure to a wide variety of orthopedic conditions with a strong emphasis on spine care
- Collaborate closely with orthopedic surgeons, multispecialty surgical colleagues, clinical staff, and fellow APPs
- Hospital-employed position with strong administrative and clinical support
Requirements
- NYS licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- DEA certification
- ACLS/BLS certification
- Interest in orthopedics and spine care
- New graduates encouraged to apply
Competitive Compensation:
St. Peters Health Partners offers a comprehensive salary and compensation package that includes:
- Base Salary: $134,120-$155,579, based on providers years of licensure as PA or NP
- Annual Quality Incentive
- $5,000 starting bonus
